Does God Exist?

This has been age-old quest of mankind about the existence of God. In order to search the logical and true answer, we need to understand the following concept first:
1. The Law of Nature- Dhamma
2. The Process of Cause & Affect Cycle
3. Theory of Dependant Origination
4. The Concept of Good or Bad
5. The History of Mankind
6. The fact of Mankind
7. The process of Evolution
8. The Theory of Karma
9. The traditional concept of God
10. The logical concept of God
THE LAW OF NATURE- DHAMMA
Whatever exist in this cosmos, everything has its own intrinsic objective property depending upon its environment. According to this intrinsic objective property depending upon its environment, everything in the cosmos acts and reacts in a particular way, which sets the law of Nature, the Dhamma. So, everything in this cosmos happens in an objective way according to this Law of Nature, the Dhamma.
THE PROCESS OF CAUSE & AFFECT CYCLE
Whatever happens in this cosmos, it happens because of cause/s and condition/s present in that matrix. The cause/s and condition/s present in a matrix produce certain effect/s according to the Law of Nature, the Dhamma and that effect/s can act as cause/s for further effect/s in the new conditions as per the Law of Nature, the Dhamma. This way, the whole cosmos operates according to this chain of cause/s and effect/s cycle as per the Law of Nature, the Dhamma.
Nothing can happen in this cosmos without the presence of cause/s and condition/s.
THEORY OF DEPENDANT ORIGINATION
As per this theory given by Lord Buddha, nothing in this cosmos exists on its own. Everything in this Cosmos exists as per certain cause/s and condition/s. If that cause/s and condition/s are removed, that thing will cease to exist.
THE CONCEPT OF GOOD OR BAD
If you see the whole history of Mankind, you can clearly observe that concept of good or bad, the evil and virtue has always been defined by the stronger who had the reign of control over the society. The social concept of right and wrong has always been relative and changing according to the situations, suitable to the ruler of society.
For example, in Indian concept Ram has always considered and revered as a god of virtue despite the fact he had left his wife in the jungle because someone had doubted the celibacy of her wife. The king Ram had ordered his soldier to pour the molten lead in the ear of one man because he was from a lower caste and had heard some sermon of Veda, the respected scripture as a person of lower caste was not allowed to hear the scripture of Veda. Despite being the act of torture and injustice, Ram is considered and revered the god of virtue.
Similarly, Yudhishthira, an important protagonist in Hindus’ famous scripture Mahabharat is still considered as a man of noble character despite the fact that he had put his wife Draupadi on bet in a play of gambling.
Secondly, if you see the functioning of any society properly, you will observe that the rich in any society has become rich by the exploitation of the poor. The wealth distribution system in any society has been mostly functioning according to the rule set by the powerful in the society.
So, the conclusion is that the narrative of right and wrong is always set by the powerful in a society.
THE HISTORY OF MANKIND
If you see the history of Mankind, you will find that the entire human history is full of dictators, killers, violence, exploitation, injustice etc.
THE REALITY OF MANKIND
Though technology, comfort, knowledge etc of mankind has been improving day by day, but at the same time human problems also like diseases, social and economic disparity, violence, exploitations, wars etc have been increasing day by day.
THE PROCESS OF EVOLUTION
If you see the Mankind, it has always been subject to the process of evolution. The process of evolution depends upon the various permutations and combinations of factors present in a given situation.
The technology, knowledge, style of living, the social system, political system etc, everything has been constantly evolving as per the needs and situations of a society.
THE THEORY OF KARMA
As according to theory of Karma, it is believed that if a person performs virtuous acts, he or she gets good result and if a person performs a bad deed, he or she gets bad results. Though, this does not happen always. But whatever the results a person faces in his or her life, it is sure according to the Law of Nature- Dhamma and the Process of Cause & Affect Cycle without any failure.
Sometimes, a man faces bad consequences despite of his or her good acts and intensions.
THE TRADITIONAL CONCEPT OF GOD
In most of religions, God is considered as a superpower, a conscious eternal entity who is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. God is always considered as Just and Kind. God is considered as the creator and this cosmos as His or Her creation. God is considered as an agency of creation of this cosmos and again the cosmos gets annihilated back in the same agency. In almost all societies, people do worship and prays God, believing that God is a conscious and kind superpower.
THE LOGICAL CONCEPT OF GOD
Whether we believe in the existence of God or not, but we can’t deny the existence of this creation, the cosmos. If creation exists, the process of creation also must be present and Science has been always in effort of understanding this process of creation of cosmos.
God is a super human being or superpower or not, but the origination of this cosmos is subject to the law of the Law of Nature- Dhamma and the Process of Cause & Affect Cycle for sure.
If you define God as a matrix subject to the law of the Law of Nature- Dhamma and the Process of Cause & Affect Cycle where creation and annihilation of this cosmos happens, then it is logical. But, in this case the so-called God must be an autonomous self-regulated objective process, not an arbitrary process, operating without any law.
ARGUMENTS
If we explain God as according to the traditional concept, then it gives rise to so many unanswered following questions:
1. If God exists and He or She is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, just and kind, then why so much of violence, injustice, atrocities, exploitations happen in this society?
2. Is so called God the final un-mutable authority, then why is the process of evolution? Why not there is full and final unchangeable creation?
3. Is so called God also subject to the process of evolution?
4. Can so called God be appeased by prayers and worships? Or, is it just a psychological activity?
5. Can the so-called God suspend the award of our good deeds if we don’t do any prayer or worship?
6. Can the so-called God award us with the result of that action which we have not performed?
7. Does so-called God is free from all desires and plans? Or, so-called God too have desires and plans?
8. If so-called God has created this cosmos, then how can He or She be complete and total in existence?
CONCLUSIONS
Whatever the traditional beliefs about the existence of God is there, it cannot be logically explained and considered Truth. But, the law of the Law of Nature- Dhamma and the Process of Cause & Affect Cycle are true and infallible. They are sufficient to explain the existence of this Existence and all phenomena happening in our society and the world. So, the intelligent approach would be to understand the operation of the law of the Law of Nature- Dhamma and the Process of Cause & Affect Cycle fully.
