Swami Aaron’s Musings on Consciousness- Part 9

Sutra 91:

If you are not the creator of your thoughts, then, you are not the doer of your deeds.

Sutra 92:

Location of Self is everywhere within everything around you. Your actual self depends on nothing. Self is limitless.

Sutra 93:

When Consciousness is aware of itself, it is bliss. Bliss in purest form is the remembrance of your actual self. In the state of bliss, thinking is suspended. Only direct perception remains.

Sutra 94:

Only in the state of Bliss i.e. Supreme Consciousness you can realize yourself as timeless being.

Sutra 95:

The whole existence / universe exists in only three layers –

1.    Gross material world filled with stars, planets etc.

2.    Subtle world of mind full of thoughts, emotions, memories etc.

3.    Consciousness

Sutra 96:

The poetry of consciousness is possible only in the state of Now.

Sutra 97:

All seeking perpetuate the existence of ego. When you realize God i.e. Super-consciousness, all seeking cease as there is nothing beyond the domain of consciousness to be sought.

Sutra 98:

All objects have border and limits. But, consciousness does not have any border or limit.

Sutra 99:

Whenever you look at an object, firstly be aware of yourself and then, that of the object. This awareness will unite both the viewer and viewed.

Sutra 100:

What is intrinsic in an object must be present in the object as long as the object exists. If it is not present, then, it is an incidental attribute. Same is true about your body. Body is incidental; while consciousness is an eternal reality.
