About: Snehaa is a passionate counselling psychologist who believes that mental health is as important as physical health and thrives in providing effective therapies and counselling. She always had a deepened curiosity about how different people behave in various ways, which made her perceive her education in learning and understanding human behaviour. As a psychologist, she adheres to a non-judgmental therapeutic structure. She is also an active listener and empathetic psychologist. She creates a safe space for the clients where their identities and information are maintained delicately. She is open to working with a wider population and proceeds only with the client's consent.
She has completed her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the School of Allied Health Care and Sciences, Jain University, Bangalore. She has also attended different workshops and presented papers at national and international conferences. She follows an eclectic approach where she uses psychoanalysis, CBT, mindfulness and certain techniques of Gestalt. Her work focuses on anxiety issues, eating disorders, depression and other emotional dysregulation and personality disorders. She can also conduct psychological assessments and testing to make the therapy more scientific.
She is comfortable with the languages English and Tamil.
